Would you like to create your own activity? We have 10 tips on how to have a successful activity. Our stats show that once they create one activity, the majority of people go on to regularly create more.

1. A cool title ✍🏻
The first thing members see is the title of your activity. Keep it short and immediately identifiable. If the essence of the activity is a hike, be sure to include that word in the title. The app will automatically offer title suggestions for you. Feel free to pick one and make it your own.
2. A clear description 🕮
The most important part of your activity is the description. Be sure to include all useful information. What type of activity is it? Is there anything to look out for, like a good place to park bikes across the street? If tickets need to be purchased in advance, then how much do they cost? If you are going on a jog, how long and difficult will it be?
3. The meeting point 📍
You should state the meeting point as clearly as possible in order to avoid any confusion and to make it as easy as possible for the participants. Restaurants, parks, or other addresses can be selected as meeting points and are excellent options. Consider a place that's shaded or by an easily visible landmark. If you can't choose the meeting point you want in the app, add the meeting point separately in the description or the group chat.
4. Time and date 🕒
You should schedule your activity at a time that allows as many members as possible to participate. Consider standard work week or family obligation times. Ideally, the time and date should not be changed after the meeting has already been created. However, if you do, please inform the participants very clearly in the group chat.
5. Weather ☀️
Outdoor activities require good weather. No one wants to picnic in a thunderstorm, or jog during an unexpected heat wave. Keep an eye on the weather forecast and keep in touch with the participants in the group chat to make any necessary changes, whether you reschedule or simply cancel.
6. The group chat 💬
The group chat allows you to communicate logistics and answer questions with participants at any time.
7. Invitations 📬
In order for members to find your activity in the app, you should send out invitations regularly. These can be sent to specific members or randomly. To filter members, you can search for different tags and choose your target group. Example: to invite users who enjoy hiking, you could type in "hiking".
8. Cancel on time 🛎️
If something important comes up and you are unable to participate, we ask that you let the other participants know in time via group chat. That way, the group can come up with an alternative, or they can meet without you.
9. Your profile 💯
Your profile should be appealing, authentic, and inviting to other members. Be sure not to lie in your description, and upload a clear, recent, friendly, unedited profile pic. Members do not join activities with awkward or inappropriate photos, or photos of a landscape instead of your face.
10. Have fun 🥳
Don't overthink it. The most important thing is to have fun and enjoy yourself. It's totally understandable that you might be nervous before your first group activity - we've all been there! We hear a lot of encouraging and nice stories every day from people who've taken the leap. We are sure that you will leave with unforgettable memories.
