From Crystal to Meet5

I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you, Meet5. I am deeply grateful for your app and the team behind it who make all this possible. I've heard so many great stories, and now I get to be one of them.

I discovered Meet5 in January of 2025. After my very first activity, I knew right away: this is exactly what I was looking for.

Bringing people together, making sure everyone feels welcome, creating a warm spot in the group, that’s just who I am. I hit the ground running. I started planning activities left and right. I loved it, and I still do, every single time.

When I saw the call for people to become Captains, I thought: why not? Time to take a leap and step out of my safe but lonely bubble. From that moment, everything took off. I became a Captain and started hosting Monthly activities in Bruges, something that still brings me so much joy and fulfillment.

Your trust gave me room to grow: in confidence, in social skills, in health, and most of all in the feeling of having a community again. Thanks to Meet5, I get off the couch and actively take part in life, something I’ve wanted for a long time, but not knowing how to start and nerves kept holding me back.

Now, a warm circle of people is forming around me. Real friendships are taking root, like with Lisa who lives on my street, who I may never have met without Meet5.

What makes Meet5 special is that there's no pressure to date, no expectations, just real-life connections based on shared interests. My activities fill up quickly, and even if plans shift last minute, I have the best time. Everyone is free to feel out what works for them, at their own pace.

I've always loved traveling, but I've found it intimidating to travel solo. So my favorite activities have become the weekend trips. We've gone on so many adventures together… and soon, even one to the beach! It’ll be a small-scale, budget-friendly trip, all with the Meet5 vibe: everyone books for themselves, joins what they want. No pressure, just connection.

These days, my calendar is filled with bright neon pink, the color I chose to mark my Meet5 activities.

Thanks to you, I feel like a person again, part of something bigger. You’ve truly made a difference in my life.
