Double Feature Release: Two New Functions for Organizing Activities

If you organize activities on Meet5, you have a lot going on behind the scenes. With our two new features, you get more visibility and more control right in the app. Both of these new features are designed to make organizing activities more relaxed for you: you can display your upcoming organized activities on your profile, and you can hand over your activity to a member of your choice if you're no longer able to attend.
1) Show created activities on your profile 🗒️
Now you have the option to display the upcoming activities you've organized, right on your profile page. This way, other members can check out what you've planned next. If you choose to display it, the list is shown below your "About me" section.

📌 Benefits:
Members can find activities in one place
Your activities get more visibility on your profile
If one of your activities is full, people can check for other activities you're hosting
Important: We only show activities that you created. Activities where you're a registered participant are not shown on your profile. You can turn this feature on or off at any time in your profile settings.
2) Handing over an activity - made easy 🤝
Life happens! If you're no longer able to attend an activity you created, you can now assign a new organizer yourself in the app. To do this, go to the activity's participant list and use the three-dot menu to select the participant who should take over the activity. This ensures someone will look after the activity, even if you're unable to make it.

📌 Benefits:
You can arrange the handover without contacting support
The activity stays planned, and the group can still meet
No random or unwanted assignments of the organizer role
Our tip: Briefly discuss and agree on the handover in the group chat, then hand it over to someone who wants to take over the activity.
Feeling inspired to organize your next Meet5 activity? Then open the app and get started meeting new people in your area!
