Start your timers: this should only take 30 seconds.

Meet5 launched in the US in 2025, and we are different from other friendship and social apps! Here's how:

Think of Meet5 like a mix between: a big group text with your friends & a community event board anybody can post to.
  1. Unhosted vs. hosted

If our team made the activity, there's no "organizer" attending, and everybody going takes the fun idea and does it together. An activity planned by you, a captain, or other member means they'll be there.

  1. Active, not passive

The success of an activity is in your hands. Participate actively in the group chat. Introduce yourself, say hi, and reconfirm you're coming. Think of it like an active versus inactive group text. An RSVP from a month ago but no texts leading up to it - not a good sign!

  1. You can create activities

Anybody can organize fun! With a friendly profile pic, a nice activity title and description, and lots of invitations and group chats, fun and new friends are only a few clicks away. Think a community event board you can post flyers on!

How Meet5 is different from larger meet up groups:
  • People your age, 40+

  • If the Meet5 team puts the idea together, we're not attending. Other community member events will have the organizer there in person

  • Approachable small group setting

  • Many different types of activities to see the same people at, rather than a different crowd at each interest group

How Meet5 is different than one-on-one friendship apps:
  • People your age, 40+

  • More activity based than profile browsing, get offline and hanging out sooner

  • Meet more people at once in a small group
