At Meet5, you can organize just about any activity that brings people together. That freedom is exciting, but it can also be a little overwhelming.

Where do you start? We’ve got you covered with some fresh inspiration for your next group activity.

1. Restaurants & Cafés: The Always-Reliable Classics

Food and drink never fails to bring people together, it’s as simple as that. Whether it’s dinner at a favorite restaurant or a casual coffee chat, these settings make it easy for everyone to relax and connect.

Think about spots you already enjoy. For others in your area, they might be undiscovered gems. It’s a great way to introduce your group to something new!

If you're picking a place you haven’t visited before, do a little homework:

  • Is there enough space for a group?

  • Is it too noisy for conversations?

  • Is the menu affordable for everyone?

  • Is the place easily accessible by transit or car?

2. Culture & Sightseeing: Explore Together

Play tourist in your own city! Well-known landmarks, hidden museums, local festivals, or quirky exhibitions all make for fun and conversation-friendly outings.

Try to start with cultural events that appeal to a broader group, this makes it easier to find people who share your interests. Later, you can organize more niche outings with members you click with.

Not sure where to look? Check your city’s cultural calendar, local event websites, or simply do a Google search for inclusive events near you.

3. Outdoor Activities: Nature Meets Connection

Hiking and biking are better with good company. Use tools like Komoot to find or plan scenic routes, and look for spots with great views or nice places to stop for a break.

Keep the route light and social—shorter distances and slower paces work best for group conversation and inclusive fun. It’s less about endurance and more about the shared experience.

4. Indoor Activities: Rainy Day Fun

Bad weather? No problem. There’s plenty to do indoors, too. Think:

  • Bowling alleys

  • Trampoline parks

  • Indoor rock climbing

  • Indoor Ice Rinks

Yes, adults are absolutely allowed to have this kind of fun, and it’s great to see a group let loose and laugh together.

Or keep it cozy: bring board games to a café (some cafés even offer their own) Try a pottery making or painting class if you're the artsy type. Games or activities where you create something help break the ice.

5. What’s Popular on the App?

If you’re just getting started, your main goal is meeting people, not planning the perfect event. So take a hint from what already works.

Browse the app and see which activities tend to fill up quickly. Use those as inspiration: if a Sunday brunch or a wine tasting looks popular, organize your own version at a place you like.

You can even copy an existing activity and use it as a template, adjust the time and location, and add your own personal touch to the description.

Keep in Mind!

The best activity is one that YOU enjoy. If you're excited about it, others will be too. Start simple, stay open, and watch your Meet5 group grow.
